Full Story:

"I said left!!!" Cameron yells at Dylan as he speeds through the streets of L.A. "Yeah, but try saying it before I pass it next time" Dylan retorts. As Cameron and Dylan continue bickering with each other, Dylan leans out the window and says I think I know where she is. Which Cameron says how, Dylan states call it a hunch as he sees an explosion up in the hills.

"OMAC 1966 sonics activated." States the OMAC, sending both Kate and Mark Shaw flying in the room. As Kate goes though the air she thinks to herself what is that thing, then wonders if it is after Mark or her, as she grabs the window ledge. As Kate hangs there she continues thinking that she is getting sick of getting tossed out of tall buildings. "Target acquired, initiating Manhunter-tech elimination protocols" the OMAC states as it moves over to Mark grabbing him by the neck. Kate jumps back into the room thinking to herself that the OMAC hasn't noticed her yet and wonders if she should just let the OMAC and Mark take care of themselves or help Mark out. "Ok, Shaw. Just this once. And only because you're a Manhunter." Kate thinks before she yells at the OMAC "Hey! One-eye" Kate watches the OMAC and instead of turning around, the OMAC's eye rotates to the back of the head. "Why don't you pick on someone conscious?" Kate says, as she gets ready to fire her staff. The OMAC begins to scan Kate - Target Unidentified Female//Threatclass: unknown -Tech/power analysis>>Weapon: Manhunter power staff #837465209//- Multiple source technology>>body armor: unknown origin// gauntlets: scanning databases.... Warning_Threat immediate>>Query?: collateral damage>> - "Neutralization permission verified."

As the OMAC begins firing Kate thinks that maybe Mark was right, she could be the last Manhunter. As Kate dodges the fire, Mark Shaw wakes up and attacks the OMAC saying, "YOU! What is this? Another Dumas plot?!" Which makes on of the shots hit Kate in the foot knocking her off the window ledge. As Kate is falling she thinks, 'Again with falling? This has gotten beyond annoying!' Just then Dylan and Cameron pull into the driveway of the home was Kate falls onto the truck's hood. "KATE!" Cameron yells. "Cam?! I know how this looks, but I can explain--" Kate begins to say until Cameron interrupts saying, "Listen! Shaw is a pawn in a much bigger game! He's not in control of his actions!" Kate gets off the truck stating that she "got that much" and now she has to rescue him from an OMAC. Cameron swears then tosses Kate her mask, which Kate says thanks.

Kate then fires her staff to fly her up to the window ledge, where she sees the OMAC hunched over Mark with tendrils going into Mark. "Locating intracranial technology>>> Micro-circuitry/ Cerebellum electrical interface>>> Accessing via ocular/nasal cavities>> Chance of subject surviving deactivation procedure: approximately 11.7685432%" the OMAC states. Kate then walks up behind the OMAC and fires a blast from her staff. From below, Cameron wonders how are they supposed to get up there, just then Dylan opens up the covered bed of his truck to find a grappling hook attached in it. Cameron asked why he had that, which Dylan stated, "Black Manta never sent me my last paycheck, so I snuck into his warehouse and took what he owed me in equipment." Dylan helps Cameron up to the room, when she gets there she pulls out her gun and flashlight. As she is looking around, she hears a noise, thinking that it might be the air conditioning, but is actually tendrils from the OMAC. Before the tendrils reach Cameron, Kate tackles her to safety.

"I am Dumas!... What? Why did I say that?... I remember blood...DePaul...Oh, God...What's happening to me?..." Mark states right before the OMAC grabs him from behind. Kate runs up yelling no and slices the OMAC's arm with her gauntlets and cuts it. Kate is surprised that it cut through the armor and even more surprised that it's bleeding, coming to the conclusion that there is a person in that armor. The OMAC grabs Kate, then Kate shoves her hands into the OMAC head and rips it open. Seeing the person inside, she wonders if he is alive, while Cameron complains to herself that she can't get a clear shot to help Kate. "....And now my head's buzzing...here it comes...again..." Cameron says to herself. "_Unidentified Meta in proximity_ Warning_ electromagnetic override_" the OMAC yells right before Cameron unleashes her power. "Manhunter, you alive over there?" Cameron asks, "Except for the bile rushing up my throat, yeah." Kate responds. Cameron looks at the OMAC and notices that Agent Harold is in the armor. "So who's he really working for? Is Checkmate up to its old tricks?" Cameron wonders. "Th-that thing d-doesn't want me!" Mark begins to say. "What?" Kate says. "It- it wants what's inside of me!" he finishes.

Kate tells Mark that they don't have time for "insane gibberish", Mark replies, "I'm sure of it. When the government made me Manhunter, they did something to me. Implanted something. Linking me and the staff... I didn't remember. But--pieces of it are coming back--" Kate asks surprisingly, "The government?" Cameron tells them that whatever made Shaw is part of a prototype program that helped create the OMAC program and they want to eliminate all evidence of that link. "So you're linked to the staff, huh? Guys, I have an idea." Kate tells them. "///97.8675% Operation function returned>> scanning..." the OMAC states as it turns its head looking at the three others. "Running defensive scenarios... - Chase, Cameron _ DEO//File 367459 Weapon: 10mm standard issue pistol. - Primary target: Shaw, Mark Primary target: Manhunter powerstaff. - _Unidentified_ meta, female. Primary directive: Manhunter-tech elimination." the OMAC states as he rushes towards Mark. The OMAC grabs Mark and states, "Capture successful" as Kate begins to hit the OMAC with the staff. As Kate continues to hit the OMAC the staff begins to break apart until it finally shatters. "Manhunter tech _status_ dual location. New protocol downloading." the OMAC states. "Y-you want this- Take it!!" yells Mark as he rips something out from the back of his neck. The OMAC scans the area and finds that the tech is inoperational and the other is eliminated. "OMAC1966 Mission>> Completed." states the OMAC then flies off.

Dylan helps Kate put Mark into his truck bed, and then asks for his shirt so she can have something to cover her Manhunter outfit. Cameron tells them they should leave and that she will meet up with them later. As the Police show up, Cameron gets on the phone with Director Bones to inform him "we have a serious problem within the DEO. Have you heard of the OMAC Project?" While driving away, Dylan asks where they are bringing Mark, Kate replies "your place." As they continue to talk about Mark and his recent actions, Dylan swerves to avoid hitting a car, where Dylan recognizes the driver... Ted Shoemaker, the tabloid reporter, that has been seen by his house. Kate asks if anything was wrong which Dylan replies, "No. Nothing at all." Later on that evening at Dylan's home, Kate, Cameron and Mark talk about Mark's situation. They decide that it would be best if Mark stayed out of the governments "hands". Kate then tells Dylan that Mark is his new housemate, which Dylan replies, "I hope you like unicorn wallpaper, roomie."

"And both LAPD and D.E.O. forces declined comment on the incident in the Hollywood hills... except to confirm the release of famed Federal Attorney, Kate Spencer, who was taken hostage during an interrogation. Ms. Spencer's condition and her location remain unknown, but sources tell us-" Peter hears on the TV News until a knock at the door interrupts him. Peter answers the door to find Kate standing there. "Is Ramsey still up?" She asks. Peter happy to see her, asks what happened, which Kate said they will talk about it later. Kate walks over to Ramsey, who was asleep on the couch, and asks, "Heya, super-kid. How are you?" "M-Mommy...? Izzat you...?" Ramsey says and then asks, "Did the bad guys hurt you?" "Nope, I'm fine. I just told them I had to go and see my number one fella. Now, c'mon. Let's put you to bed. It's waaay past you bedtime." Kate tells Ramsey. Kate tucks Ramsey into bed telling him that she loves him and Ramsey tells her that he loves her too.

"Wow, you actually sounded like a real mom there." Peter tells Kate. "Yeah. Well, I've been reading a lot of Good Housekeeping lately." Kate responds. "It's incredibly sexy, you know." Peter says leaning into Kate. "Peter, I--" Kate begins to say but Peter tells her to "shhhh...." and begins to kiss her. Kate holds Peter's head as the kiss.

They go into Peter's room....

And the door shuts
